I sit in total darkness
So dark, it doesn't matter if I have my eyes open, or not
I just sit while taking heed
I hear a creaking sound in the floor
The sound of the wind brushing against the house
Distand sound of a car door closing
Next came silence...
There was a sound of something falling to the floor, but after a brief moment, I realize it was me getting down on my knees
Not to pray, because I had already prayed so much, but to hope for more vision
It seems in the sunlight, I haven't been able to find my way in life
So I sit in the dark, blinding my eyes, hoping my other senses will kick in and lead me the rest of the way
I smell a light scent in the air
The door cautiously opens
A gentle voice, sharp and clear calls out my name
I do not answer
I feel a hand pulling me up off my knees, before exchanging a word, a tender kiss touches my lips
After the taste of her soft lips on mine, I hear her speak in a whispered voice,
why are you sitting in the dark
My reply,"I feel lost"
I feel her soft petite hands, pull my body into hers, giving me a warm endearing embrace
The feel of her soft hands touch my face and for a brief moment and stroke my cheek
A soft adoring kiss falls on my lips
I feel her hand slide into mine, as she leads me out the darken room, into the light
